Rosemarie followed in the footsteps of her sister, Mary Ann, when she began dancing at the age of 3. During her competitive dancing career, she held the Eastern Regional Oireachtas title, then went on to become North American National Champion. Rosemarie successfully medalled at the All - Ireland and World Championships before retiring to join the cast of "Riverdance"

Rosemarie spent 4 ½ years touring the United States and Canada, before joining the cast of "Riverdance on Broadway" at the Gershwin Theatre. Rosemarie's other credits include: the National Irish dancing "Folgers" commercial with Liam Harney, NBC "Good Morning America", Radio City Music Hall, New York and Lincoln Center, New York, Westbury Music Fair.

Rosemarie graduated from Queens College – City University of New York in 1996 with a double degree in Economics and Sociology.

She is a welcome addition to the teaching staff at the Schade Academy
 

Celebrating her 35th Anniversary as an Irish Dancing Instructor, Mary Lou is regarded as one of the greatest Irish Dance Teachers in the world.


May Lou began her dancing career at the age of 7 years with the McNiff School of Irish Dance in New York. Her experiences include appearances on National television with the Ed Sullivan Show and the Merv Griffin Show, as well as venues throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania (Lincoln Center, New York and Madison Square Garden, New York).

Mary Lou opened the Schade Academy in 1968 with only 25 students. Since its inception, the Academy has grown to 3 locations with over 300 students. She has produced hundreds of Regional, National, All –Ireland and World Champion solo and team dancers. Many of these top-ranking dancers are now certified teachers and directors of their own studios.

Mary Lou is registered with the Irish Dance Commission in Dublin, Ireland as a teacher and adjudicator –as well as the North American and Mid Atlantic Irish Dance Teachers Association. She has adjudicated throughout the United States and Canada, and served as a panelist on the prestigious All – Ireland, All – Scotland, Australian Nationals and the World Championship competitions. In 1999, Mary Lou was appointed adjunct Professor of Dance at Hofstra University.
